- The free CutePDF Writer mentioned above converts any document to a PDF easily and will keep links active. For more advanced PDF features like interactive forms, booklets, combining PDF files, resizing pages, rearranging pages, stamps, etc., there is CutePDF Pro ($49.95; has a free trial to see if it will work for you before you buy it). This is a great alternative to the more expensive Adobe Acrobat.
